INTEC Industrie-Technik GmbH and Skyeton Germany GmbH signed a strategic Letter of Intent on June 10, 2026, at ILA 2026 in Berlin. The agreement aims to provide the German Armed Forces with proven and operationally ready unmanned aerial system solutions offering long range and extended endurance.
The cooperation combines INTEC’s expertise in engineering, system integration, and lifecycle support with Skyeton’s proven operational experience in unmanned systems. Together, the companies are pooling their capabilities to meet current and future defense requirements in Germany and allied markets.
Christoph Otten, CEO of INTEC:
“We look forward to working with SKYETON to provide the armed forces with access to proven operational capabilities. These systems were originally developed and have been continuously enhanced based on lessons learned on the battlefield in Ukraine. Together, we will make these capabilities available to the German market in order to address current and future challenges.”
Andreas Pilz, Key Account Director DACH at Skyeton Germany:
“We highly value INTEC’s expertise and the company’s deep understanding of the German defense environment. This makes INTEC an important partner for us. We are convinced that this cooperation will help bring Raybird’s proven capabilities to the German market in a practical and reliable way.”
The initial focus of the cooperation will be Raybird, Skyeton’s small tactical unmanned aerial system designed for long-endurance ISR and ISTAR missions. Raybird was developed in Ukraine and has been continuously enhanced. To date, it has completed more than 350,000 flight hours under operational conditions. The system has demonstrated its reliability, resilience against electronic warfare, and operational efficiency under particularly demanding conditions for unmanned systems. With INTEC’s expertise and support, the platform will be adapted to European and, in particular, German standards.
