At yesterday’s information lunch hosted by the Parliamentary Group for Aerospace, our CEO Christoph Otten presented the realignment of the INTEC Group—from a traditional mid-sized company into a strong player in the defense sector.

The presentation focused on three key messages:

Following our comprehensive transformation, we are focusing clearly on ensuring the operational and sustainment readiness of new systems throughout their entire lifecycle. After all, it is not procurement alone, but also sustainable operation that determines operational capability and economic efficiency. This requires modern, independent, and sustainable approaches to logistics and supply chain management—an area in which INTEC is ideally positioned as an OEM-independent and product-neutral service provider.

Germany’s small and medium-sized security and defense companies remain highly capable and innovative. Partnerships among SMEs are essential for sustainable success. We are deliberately pursuing this path together with national, European, and transatlantic partners in order to deliver customer-specific solutions for niche markets.

By establishing additional defense structures and investing in digitalization and data-driven service concepts, we are contributing to the long-term strengthening of European defense capabilities and will develop into a strong player in the defense sector.
