Your role

  • Managing complex projects as part of the systems integration of naval equipment and systems
  • Planning and monitoring schedules and costs and where necessary coordinating and initiating corrective measures
  • Monitoring and maintaining project documentation
  • Defining and assigning work packages to team members
  • Coordinating the implementation of specifications into a system design
  • Analysing and deriving system-relevant and function-defining customer requirements and initiating the corresponding system and functional analyses to assess effort, costs and risks
  • Ensuring the completeness of the functional analysis and the interface matrix
  • Managing subcontractors and suppliers, including defining requirements, monitoring performance, ensuring quality through appropriate testing and acceptance procedures and coordinating schedules with other disciplines
  • Planning and carrying out a wide range of development tasks in the military sector
  • Preparing and evaluating customer requirements, such as specifications and statements of work
  • Coordinating the preparation of test and acceptance documents, as well as system descriptions, such as commissioning instructions and configuration descriptions
  • Preparing or reviewing test documentation, including FAT, HAT, and SAT documents

Your qualifications & knowledge

  • Completed degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics or a comparable field
  • Sound knowledge of electrical engineering and mechanics
  • Knowledge of network technology, particularly the configuration of network structures, is desirable
  • Experience with military systems, particularly communication and support systems, as well as radio systems such as microwave radio and SATCOM, is an advantage
  • Knowledge of military data link systems, such as Link 11, Link 16, Link 22, or JREAP-C, is also an advantage
  • Fluent German, both written and spoken (native or equivalent level), as well as solid English skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Efficient time management and a results-oriented approach to work
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
