Your role

At our recently opened site in Nordholz, you will play a key role in the IT environment supporting our security-critical systems in an exciting project environment within the naval aviation sector:
  • Administration and operation of project-specific, security-critical IT infrastructures within an isolated network
  • Setup, maintenance, and monitoring of client and server systems, with a particular focus on information security
  • Installation, configuration, and support of IT components, preferably BSI-approved hardware such as firewalls, network components, and specialized clients
  • Execution of system and security updates on network-isolated systems, including the use of physical data transfer media
  • Implementation of technical hardening measures to protect the project-specific system environment against unauthorized access
  • Management of user accounts, access rights, and authorization concepts within protected network areas
  • Analysis and troubleshooting of incidents, as well as providing first-level support to employees
  • Documentation of technical systems and measures carried out in accordance with internal and external security and compliance requirements
  • Collaboration with the Information Security team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

Your qualifications & knowledge

  • Completed vocational training or a degree in IT (e.g. IT Specialist for System Integration, Computer Science) or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in administering Windows environments, as well as in the areas of Active Directory, networking, firewalls, storage, and backup
  • Solid knowledge of networking technologies, virtualization, and IT security, including experience with security-related tools and solutions
  • Fluent German, both written and spoken (native level or equivalent), as well as good command of English
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude
  • Willingness to undergo a military security clearance process (Ü2)
