Systems engineering for command, control, weapon and mission systems (C4ISR) in the field of software and hardware development
Analysis of customer requirements and derivation of system, subsystem and component requirements
Creation and maintenance of system specifications, interface descriptions and architectural concepts
Development and integration of software and hardware components into complex overall systems
Execution of system design, system modelling and system architecture activities (e.g. MBSE)
Planning, coordination and execution of integration, verification and validation activities
Technical coordination with internal departments and disciplines (software, hardware, mechanical engineering, testing and quality)
Support in the preparation of proposals and effort estimations
Technical management and support of subcontractors and partners
Participation in system acceptance activities, technical reviews and customer presentations
Ensuring and documenting system functionality and performance

Completed degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Communications Engineering, or a comparable field
Several years of experience in systems engineering of complex technical systems
Solid knowledge of software and/or hardware development
Experience with command, control and weapon systems or safety-/mission-critical systems is an advantage
Knowledge of systems engineering methodologies (e.g. INCOSE, MBSE, SysML)
Experience in requirements engineering and configuration management
Knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g. ISO standards, MIL standards, DoD MIL-STD-498, depending on the application area)
Very good command of German and good command of English, both written and spoken
Strong analytical and cross-system thinking skills
