Administration and operation of security-critical IT infrastructures within an isolated network
Setup, maintenance, and monitoring of client and server systems, with a particular focus on information security
Installation and configuration of IT components, preferably BSI-approved hardware (e.g. firewalls, network components, and specialized clients)
Execution of system and security updates on network-isolated systems, including the use of physical data transfer media
Implementation of technical hardening measures to protect the system environment against unauthorized access
Management of user and access rights concepts within protected network areas
Documentation of technical systems in accordance with internal and external security and compliance requirements
Collaboration with the Information Security team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
The position is primarily site-based. Occasional short on-site assignments at other locations in Germany may be required.

Completed vocational training or a degree in IT (e.g. IT Specialist for System Integration, Computer Science) or an equivalent qualification
Several years of professional experience in administering Windows environments, as well as in the areas of Active Directory, networking, firewalls, storage, and backup
Strong knowledge of networking technologies, virtualization, and IT security, including experience with security-related tools and solutions
Fluent German, both written and spoken (native level or equivalent), as well as good command of English
