Your role

  • Providing technical leadership and supporting the development of an S2000M team at the Kiel site
  • Managing and delivering ASD S2000M projects from the conceptual phase through to acceptance
  • Overall technical responsibility for S2000M projects in northern Germany, with a particular focus on the naval sector
  • Ensuring the quality-compliant and timely delivery of ILS documentation in accordance with ASD S2000M
  • Advising and supporting customers and internal project teams on all S2000M-related matters
  • Establishing, maintaining, and optimising standardised S2000M processes, methods and tools
  • Coordinating and liaising with clients, system houses and authorities, particularly in the naval and defence sectors
  • Actively contributing to the preparation of quotations and technical clarifications as part of tender procedures
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior experts and new team members
  • Maintaining a regular presence at the Kiel site and at customer premises

Your qualifications & knowledge

  • Completed degree in engineering, computer science, technical documentation or a comparable technical vocational qualification with several years of relevant professional experience in the field of S2000M
  • Several years of proven professional experience in the preparation and management of ILS documentation in accordance with ASD S2000M
  • In-depth understanding of the S2000M specification, including all relevant data modules, BREX, SCORM, etc.
  • Experience in the naval sector or with naval weapon systems is expressly desirable
  • Knowledge of common S2000M authoring tools, such as S1000D/S2000M-compliant XML editors and CSDB systems
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly
  • A high degree of personal responsibility, strong quality awareness and a structured approach to work
  • Very good written and spoken German, as well as good English skills for working with international standards and documentation
  • Willingness to travel regularly, particularly to the Kiel site
