Your role

The position holder works as a Supply Chain Manager (d/f/m) on a temporary assignment at Airbus. The specific responsibilities are as follows:
  • Collaboration on New Product Introduction (NPI)
  • Reviewing and ensuring order processing
  • Receiving and managing data related to order placement in the ERP system
  • Analyzing delays and prioritizing urgencies based on the needs of the assembly lines and customer support
  • Managing short- and long-term operational action plans (delays in retrofitting, missing parts, improvement of logistics processes, etc.)
  • Ensuring daily monitoring of supply chain performance (inbound, workshop areas, internal transport, shipping) and ensuring the resolution of conflicts
  • Collaborating with suppliers (remotely and/or on-site at the supplier’s location) as well as with cross-functional departments to implement preventive and corrective measures
  • Driving return logistics processes (quotes, returned parts, subsequent removal)
  • Providing an overview of inventory levels and implementing action plans with suppliers to manage capacity utilization
  • Conducting supplier evaluations, selection processes, and risk assessments
  • Optimizing and reviewing supply chains
  • Coordinating with relevant stakeholders

Your qualifications & knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in supply chain management, scheduling, materials procurement, or logistics
  • SAP knowledge is desirable
  • Proficiency in German and English is required
  • Strong communication skills to ensure the flow of information
  • The ability to integrate into a team
  • A high sense of responsibility, resilience, and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for work
